Introduction Over the years , the debate has always been …which one is better for data science ,R or Python? . I say it all depends with where you are coming from and as long as you get the job done .

What is R? R is a programming language that was originally developed by and for statisticians, but in recent years its capabilities and the environments in which it is used have expanded greatly, with extensive use nowadays in academia and the public and private sectors.

Working with dataframes The dataframe is the most common data structure used by analysts in R, due to its similarity to data tables found in databases and spreadsheets. We will work almost entirely with dataframes in this book, so let’s get to know them.
